"Safe Haven" was the exact phrase that one of Lorraine's first client's used to describe their time together. It was the sense of safety and connection that allowed this client to explore life events that had been keeping her isolated, fearful, and angry. By sharing and processing the burden of her trama, this client was able to move on with a new sense of direction.
At Safe Haven Arts of Baton Rouge, we promise to continually explore new ways to keep our facility a "Safe Haven" for all. We promise to never discriminate against anyone on the bases of age, race, sex, religion, national origin, disabilities, veteran's status, or gender identity. Additionally, we promise to follow all ethical and legal guidelines for counselors and art therapists that have been established both locally and nationally.
